A SURPRISING HEALTH THREAT IN THE OFFICE

Certain Laser Printers may spew large amounts of potentially harmful particles in the air.

A recent Australian study analyzed both home and office versions of laser printers.  Of 62 models studied, a third were found to be high emitters.  Some released nearly the same concentration of particles as a smoldering cigarette.

There is a possibility that regular breathing of these particles may raise your risk for respiratory problems like bronchitis and asthma.

To ensure your personal safety around any printer, try and place these machines in a well-ventilated room with plenty of space around them.
